Sponsored by the abuse prevention professionals of Alaska, Talk About Touch was written to help adults talk to children about the crucial but very delicate subject of sexual abuse. Since talking about the dangers of sexual abuse is not easy, this book gives adults the right words to use in telling children how to protect themselves.

Set in a remote Alaskan village, it emphasizes the importance of children telling family or authority figures when sexual abuse has occurred. Children are often too afraid to report abuse, so this can be an invaluable aid in providing a dialog that increases safety within the family and the community.
