Dreambirds
The Vision
“The source of all things is like a circle... It is where everything begins and everything returns.”
This story beautifully illustrates the cyclical nature of growth, teaching children that true strength comes from inner discovery, not external validation. It frames self-acceptance as the ultimate reward.
Therapeutic Guide
Core Utility: Helps children differentiate between earned pride (competence) and destructive arrogance (ego), leading to authentic self-esteem.
Conversation Starters:
- Holima said you must 'listen with your heart.' What does that feel like?
- Natsama thought being the 'greatest hunter' was his gift. What do you think his real gift turned out to be?
- If you were the dreambird, what would your wings reach for—the sun or the moon?
